Happy Birthday Ron - loving your work as always <cheers>

All weather selections for the afternoon

    Wolverhampton
    4.20 Majestic Melody 7-2

This horse is worth a go at 5f today as last time out led very well until the final furlong and only faded late on. Although the form book reads the distance last time was 5f it was actually 5f 216 yards so 6f in reality. In my view the riding instructions must be from stall one break as fast as possible and start pushing, simple as that. This race is very poor and few will pick up with any efficiency and Majestic Melody stays 6f so will see out this five at Wolverhampton well enough. Robert Tart rides and takes off 3 pounds which all bodes well.

    7.20 Ishikawa 10-3
This is a race that I feel either of two will win, either the fav or our lad. I took the view that the fav was gifted a dream run last time and that is not actually ahead of the handicapper after two wins. Ishikawa however travels beautifully but does not always find too much, I am banking on him finding enough at this level however. Last time he ran very well after a short break and having to travel wide the whole way, something that should not happen today from the one box. I actually feel the winner comes from these two and I have them as having an almost equal chance, for that reason the 10-3 is too big compared to the 13-8 for the fav, at that price definitely worth the bet.

Stick if you're about can you remember a longsdon horse that ran in November that you put up that fell at the last fence/hurdle as I know I backed it and threw away the ticket and have just seen that PP were doing a money back offer on horses that fell at the last in November. Yours or anyone else's help will help me recoup £15 cheers guys ;)

Good work Bob on College Doll, I feel silly for not backing it as the trainer also gave it a good mention for today on ATR yesterday after a double. I hope you backed the other at Sedgefield in the end as I saw that won also. Two posted two winners, great tipping <applause>

Didn't back the other blue but went in nicely on College Doll so not as frustrating as it could have been. I only did CD because of the two winners she had yesterday and the massive drive they'll have done to turn those horses round.

    FAO Gingerninja:

Obviously nobody in their right mind would keep a record of Stick's selections, but I think your horse might have been HANNIBAL THE GREAT at Huntingdon on November 3rd (race won by Chase the Spud).

IF that's right, and IF you get your £15 back, could you send £1 to the IJF ?
