CLAY SHOVELLER 11/2 Southwell 4:45
Ran well in the Brocklesby looking likely to improve for the run. You can’t beat a little bit of experience at this time of the season. Took 8/1 last night having missed slightly bigger.

The(16:50) at Taunton, a Class-5 Mares' Handicap Chase over an extended 2m5f on soft ground, is a tricky affair with several holding good chances. Selection is the Mount Nelson mare, Our Nel. Apparently, was badly-ridden LTO at this track 49--days ago. Hood applied, as used on previous runs. Should get better assistance from the saddle with young conditional, Ben Bromley (5), who is getting a fair share of winners lately and is an improving NH jockey. He will take the ride for the Harry Fry yard.

5/1 (Wm.Hill/BetVictor)) top price early-doors on the ATR site. E/W best option.

Ritson - New 15.35
Career low of 95...runs well at Newcastle got a bit outpaced at Kelso over 17f 20f today is ideal. Still some 3s kicking about.

Aaron Anderson takes off 5lb effectively operating of 90...

Goes close

Our Nel ran a good race to finish 4th. Winner did well under a fine ride from Harry Cobden.
