I seem to recall that Chelsea’s syndicate membership expires this week, so this will be the last Foxy Boy run, if run is the appropriate word.

Given that it has the worst draw in the race – low numbers almost critical around the dog-leg at Beverley – the trainer might have been honest on the syndicate website today and told them they need a miracle. It won this race last year from the three box for Michael Dods and followed up nine days later – the last time it won.
