The most revelatory piece of info I got from the whole saga was that we're all trusted to play nicely Ron.
Wow what a day you lot are having. Can't believe I agreed to do a few extra hours at work and miss the racing. Think if I had done my usual sponging I could be a very rich person this afternoon. Well done lads, cracking effort all round
Looking at Parys Mountains form....getting beat by Thunder Snow (twice) is nothing shameful!! 8/1 looks like an e/w steal to me!
Each way patent? Oathkeeper's got sound enough claims to let it ride. Penhill is the biggest danger imho but that has question marks re whether it has recovered from the frankly dreadful run LTO. I've backed Penhill but would have liked to have seen a longer gap between the last day and this race in an ideal world so the solid option was the one you've backed.
BANG BANG Unlucky Stick. I'd have happily taken a place there if you'd have knicked the win for the patent.
Pure Art 10/3 to close the first day of Goodwood the way it started with a nice winner. Doubled it up with San Cassiano in the last at Beverley aswell
Been back at work today for the first time in 7 months Good news is the bike riding went fine. Bad news is that the air conditioning is still not working in the office the words "piss-up" and "brewery" spring to mind. Well done on all the winners today
Cheers guys. Yes it was an each way patent. I think if OATHKEEPER had jumped the last well he would have won.
Many horses in the 7.20 I have won and lost money am taking a small chances on Top Notch Tonto- Ellison is a wizard at sending horses across the Irish Sea and he chucks two at this race but on old form and the handicapper has given him a chance plus the fact the trainer has previously said he doesn't need soft ground 14/1 he is a massive price
What's going on? 100/1 winner at Perth following 66/1 winner at Galway, coming after yesterday's 200/1. Crazy! Nice patent that would have been!
In the Galway mile, i have Princess Aloof 25/1 e/w-a cosy Galway winner last year and cheekpieces back on, and Chris Hayes' mount Moohayed who has been very kindly dropped 5lb by the handicapper to 91 having ran a nice race in the Irish Lincolnshire off 12lb higher not too long ago. He seems suited to this intermediate (8.5 furlong) distance and has winning form over 9f.
