I am (re: Ron's comment) I'm getting grumpier with some of the coverage today. They were so busy obssessing about Boynton's bad luck in running, that no one noticed the tremendous thump that Repton gave to Thunder Snow It's unlikely it hindered him too much, but it sure didn't help! TS probably needs it softer, but it irks me when the pundits major on their own selections. Rant over - for now! (it's an age thing ... 70 next Wednesday and not looking forward to it lol)
Nothing wrong with 70 Reebs. Not sure Thunder Snow needs it softer but he did run well on it against Caravaggio. Would have been much closer had he raced on the stands side. Ran well on début on fast ground and ran well again today.
Bugger! That was a very, shall we say tender ride by Moore there. Id be interested to know if something was wrong with Birchwood. Didn't look to be going all that bad but Moore never really went for it, which isn't like him so makes me think he felt something wasn't quite right with the horse. Oh well onto the next race
That will do me very nicely for the competion and sorry for the after timing (or is it because I put it up in the competition earlier this morning) but nice win their
The next at Goodwood looks a trick one to weigh up with alot of horses having questions as to the going or where they will stay. I will take a stab at Quey who ran on really well at Ascot, just failing to beat Jennys Jewel. That was on softer ground so he has to prove he will handle this faster surface. He is still unexposed as a stayer on the flat so could still be well in off a mark of 104
It's the way to the poor house making excuses for beaten horses .... but how many times did Qewy have to switch in that race? Four times - count em!
BANG BANG as you would say Bobster. I have the three in a patent....not that I will be avataring the fortune should I be lucky enough to get all 3!
Great work Stick, hope the last one pops in for you. Shame ol boy Fusion can't access to congratulate you.
