Couple of chancey jumps but I loved his run. Showed the obstacles enough respect but not to the point of being scared of them. Really pleasing piece of work for the champ.

Good start for Thistecrack, just what you'd want. Didn't go at full tilt but jumped well on the whole.

Tizzard just said they need to give him a run at Cheltenham and also ease him through the grades so he can et accustomed to jumping at Gold cup pace.

Good start though and hope he stays safe and sound all season.

Really clever at some of the fences he was. A horse who will rarely ever fall judging by that round.

Typical reaction from the bookies, cut across the board for the Cheltenham Gold Cup <doh> Generally 5s but Hills and Stan James go 4s <laugh><rofl> Ladbrookes, Corals and Skybet holding 6/1

Nice to get a confident call right boys <cheers> Good race that and I loved the winners attitude, he'll pay his way this season. Throwing a few sheckles onto Ben Paulings Le Breuil in the Bangor bumper. Think he's a bit better than what he's facing there and even with the penalty I'm surprised he's as big as 11/4.

Lovely start from the Crack, jumped super to my eye and done what was needed with a lot of ease.

It's now the norm though isn't it? We're used to these crazy slashes after any horse half fancied for a Cheltenham race wins a walkover, proving nowt more than they are fit and well. Not that I'm making that point about Thistlecrack, he deserved to be cut after a brilliant fencing performance. It was just the price there cutting him from gets me <laugh>

My main grumble is why aren't others pushed out to balance the book? That pisses me off, cutting them is fine fair enough but surely there has to be a point or two movement the other direction for something in the rest of the field. They move prices one way only...

Sure they had the gall to claim Leicester winning the league last season cost them a bundle Oddy ffs <rofl>

Can imagine all the big hitters steaming into Leicester at 500/1 or whatever they were, over City, Chelsea, United etc <doh>

Even when Annie Power fell at the last (costing me personally €1200) they were all saying "ooooh that has saved us 30 million quid" as if it would've ruined the ****s
