Kilcruit in the last at Clonmel.
What do you think Stick?

I guess the big clue is the presence of Patrick in the plate. They must like it and it has been a poorly guarded secret. It doesnt scream at me from a pedigree point of view mind. Too short for me now and makes the market for others!
I like STAND OFF (14/1) both on form and pedigree. Looks worth an EW dabble.
Of the rank outsiders the one with a pedigree is ASK HER SOMETHING (40/1). She is the only filly in the race and gets a handy allowance. Her half brother Chapmanshype won his bumper on debut before being sold on to Jamie Snowden and is quite a handy sort.

Clonmel,2 00 i Think, this rests between farmix and FLORRIE WEBB.the former has Rock solid Form This Season, but ive the Feel, the de bromhead horse might hold sway Today.has a lengthy Break to overcome, but his Debut run last Year in a bumper wasnt devoid of promise in third, and the First Two have gone on to be quite useful.so,if fully wound-up for this, decent chance

Done a little Lucky15 on these

2.00 Florrie Webb 4/1
2.30 She's all Vintage 5/1
3.00 Shantou Sisu 11/4
3.30 Cassic Concorde 11/2

That leaves enough time to have a look at these two

The trigger - Ran two days ago 11/4
Captain Kangaroo in the lucky last 14/1

2 30 while its Never ideal zu back a Horse after a fall,it could Pay to give COSA BAN Another chance Today,as he was Running a much better Race last Time out, before departing. So,if none the Worse for that,Big shout

I see there is betting for the Irish Grand National dated as taking place on Monday 13th of April. The Irish Taoiseach has said there will be no racing until at least April 19th.

Are they planning on sneaking this race on at a secret location then?

I did see that Paddy Power have betting for the French 2000 Guineas, due to take place on 10th May. Only one horse quoted and that is Victor Ludorum, who is offered at 6/1. He would seem the obvious one with Earthlight and Pinatubo likely to head to Newmarket. The unbeaten son of Shamardal, who also sired the other two mentioned, won the Lagardere on soft ground and he did well to pick up on that surface.

Interestingly, Alson, the runner up to Victor Ludorum in the Lagardere before going on to thrash Armory in a match race next time, has now moved to Andre Fabre as well after previously being trained in Germany.

Andre Fabre is pessimistic about French Racing being back on track any time soon but reported that Earthlight and Victor Ludorum were cantering and now ready to step up to more serious work. He also mentioned that Persian King, who won last season's French Guineas and was runner-up in the French Derby before injury prematurely ended his season, was at the same stage and doing well, adding that they had all wintered well.

You might have thought that the Queen Anne would be a potential target for Persian King in the earlier part of the season but it's all up in the air now.

As Clay Davis would say:-
