2nd indeed for George Guru, fine battling finish between that and the fav maverick. Very good work from sticko today though. First post for me, although I've been lurking around for a little while.
Unlucky mate. One of those things. Don't know how people can predict the all weather tracks. It's a lottery imho.
Backing KAI MOOK in the 5.00 Nass, the way it sliced through the field on Sunday was very impressive. Fingers crossed that it gets the race run for him again!
A McManus Mover in the form of DOMOS BOY 3.00 Hereford 8-1 first time cheekpieces will be the excuse offered to the stewards about its meteoric improvement ;-)
When they punt a McManus horse the night before it rarely goes wrong peddlers! On all known form it has it all to do but they find big improvement when they want to sometimes from this yard. I have highlighted the ready made excuse too ;-)
Nice spot stickler, just took some 8s on Domo. As you say, seems a terrible price given previous form but tell tale signs!!
We have had a few touches from these Don haven't we. Been kicking myself for missing the one in the first at Leicester today but I thought they were lining it up for a handicap!
Absolutely stick and it pays to get on early at the first sniff as the prices collapse pretty quickly! Still feels a bit odd backing a horse you wouldnt usually touch at 3 times the price given its previous form!!!
Rookie trainer Martin Weston has a good record with his small string (this season 1 winner, 2 seconds and a 3rd from 4 runners) and he sends two to Hereford tomorrow - in the opener the ex-Mark Johnston trained Green Lightening and in the 3.00 the ex-Paul Nicholls traind Advisor. Well worth a little speculative e/w double His lad Mr T (maybe Martin is a fan of the A-Team?) rides both. Stick what about the mares bumper at Hereford? I'm looking for one to beat the Henderson hotpot and the Longsdon horse My Miss Lucy takes my eye - I like bumper horses by Alflora on soft or heavy, they tend to have plenty of stamina at a young age
That bumper's a bit of a family affair Oddy with Needles and his two protogee's all having runners. My advice would be to wait for the market to form and jump on board any moves for any of the three whether it be Needles, Longsdon or Symonds. All it takes is a quick call to your old stable to see how good their runner is to set off a plunge.
Just seen a headline on Sporting Life: "Refs may force Balotelli out - Mario Balotelli's agent says his player could quit England over unfair treatment from refs." Well he should just **** off to where the sun don't shine then the stupid overpaid ****er
The Longsdon horse was quite well beaten in a maiden point at Charm Park so that hardly makes it a ready made bumper winner. As you say it's dull and boring blindingly following Henderson so as usual we hope his gets beat but it probably doesnt. Most of the runners look to have bags of stamina in the pedigree. I like to see a bit of speed. How about NUISANCE, Tom Symonds has learned from the best and has already sent out a couple of nice looking bumper winners (2from8). As Quel says the market will speak volumes. This one could represent a little bit of value!
