Very small boom! Don't get too many winners, but Viceregent ran really well and stuck it out to the end. Tony Hamilton rode a good race as once or twice he looked boxed-in.

Oh, that's great LG, glad you backed it. Still wondering how the heck jockey Tony Hamilton managed to extricate himself and his mount from a very poor position a furlong or so out. Lost his whip in the process too!

Tony Hamilton at Hamilton, it must have been destiny.

I think I would have to go back to the early 90's for the last time I had a bet at Hamilton. I never made anything of it. My ex workmate used to love the Saints and Sinners meeting, stating that he used to look forward to it more than Cheltenham. That seemed sacrilege to me but each to their own.

Well done with the winner, my one was crap at Ripon. The highlight of my day was listening on You Tube and a random Bee Gees track came on. I had to check my ears but no, the song was called Fanny (Be Tender With My Love). Why am I only finding out about the existence of this song now?

I am surprised that no one has worked a remix of this entitled Love (Be Tender With My Fanny)

Went off at 11/1 but that was the good news. Really dissapointing run. He likes to be in front and he was but turning into the back straight the distress signals were out. I cant even make the excuse that the pace was too strong as the winner was always in his slipstream less than two lengths away.
He will get a few pounds back for that and I will probably give him one more chance.
