Heisman ran well Nass. Loads to build on. Abseil was also taking I thought.

I'm at Old Trafford tonight. We'll most probably lose but 13/2 to win? I've never seen us that big at home. Got to have a cheeky tenner at that price.

Apparently he was very coltish before the race, so lots of progress to come one would think.

Maybe not. 2nd but never really looked like winning. The thing needs 4miles!

Decent debut, he looked a nutcase before the race though, hopefully just immaturity. Trainer was interviewed before the race, confirmed what Nass said about Doncaster and the ground, and said he was very green and hoped he would still have him as a 4yo.

Id be wary if he was a short price next time, would like to see him at the start calm before backing I think.

Bob tough game, we have been so bad to watch so often this season but i have a feeling we will get a performance tonight. Dont know if we would win but 0.5+ on the handicap or double chance 8/5 seems very fair.

Another jail case is it Boris?

I hope so because you're record of getting jail cases beaten is incredible.

Only a tenner from me Wardy. Don't usually bet on footy but don't see any harm in having a little flutter. We'll most likely lose but until the fat lady sings we'll keep believing we have a chance isn't that right bud.

I'm not aware of any hurdle races in our calendar over farther than 3m3f.

    Anyone else know?

Not a Man Utd fan but I hope they can muster up something against the Germans and get a result, patriotism and all that. I won't be betting but 13/2 does seem big, even allowing for them having their worst season in 20 odd years.

Besides, I have Phil Jones in my dream team and could do with him getting a clean sheet to be honest :)

On another note Bob, do you think Moyes is the man for the job?

I have quite a few Utd fans as friends and it's a fairly even split.

In regards to my own team, this season can't be blamed on Tim Sherwood but I really hope he gets replaced by Van Gaal.

Man Utd will need 5 years worth of luck to avoid a monumental bashing, one saving grace is Bayern probably wont come out of second gear.

Snaff job over two legs so they will be taking it easy tonight, 3 nil should suffice.

Probably Bayern's biggest problem will be complacency. A bit of this was evident in the Bundesliga on Saturday (they have already won the league). 3-1 up and coasting at home to Hoffenheim and they let themselves get pegged back to 3-3. Different ballgame tonight though and I'm sure they'll be fired up for it. I don't think anyone connected with Bayern Munich will ever forget the 1999 final and if there is one team they always want to beat after that its United.
