Has he ever really been the same as before that nightmare fall/neck injury a few years ago?

Moore does get first pick at Ballydoyle – even ahead of the trainer’s son. He kept picking the wrong one most of last season, especially with the two year olds.

They must surely accept now that U S Navy Flag does not stay. Next race will be the July Cup.

Excellent performance by the winner but with Gustav Klimt the best of any of the Classic form in England, Ireland or France this is not looking like a vintage year unless Without Parole continues his rapid upward trajectory and cleans up the mile division. The Queen Anne Stakes was hardly an advert for the older milers.

I wouldn't say he doesn't stay a mile he just doesn't give himself a chance of staying it. He took off as soon as they crossed over to the point at which he has the winner under real pressure, that also leads me to think Without Parole will be better over further or be a hostage to pace at a mile.

What a lot of effing and blinding on this old DT for the 1st day at Royal Ascot 2018. Most pages are ablaze with asterisks! <laugh>

I didn't do too well myself, Lightning Spear got run out of it by 33/1 and 20/1 longshots after appearing to be all over the winner less than a furlong out. :emoticon-0101-sadsm
