Artic Pearl 6/1, had very bad luck in his last race when he came to win and he was badly hampered and unseated rider 2out. Tomorrow comes with the same mark and even though I'm not very confident with the jockey I think he can fight for victory.

E 235 Mountain of Mourne 20/1 should be able to grab a place at least, at this weight and 365 offering 4 places (other bookies are available).

4 modest e/w patents for me today.

    Van Beethoven
    Sinfonietta
    Take the helm

    Major Jumbo
    Scales
    Teescomponents Lad

    Mahler Lad
    Floramoss
    Sandhurst Lad

    Speak Easy
    Nessun Dorma
    Witness of Fashion

Was a toss up between Chiefofchiefs and Sinfonietta, as I've backed both in the past and both have delivered.
Might have to have a single e/w on Chief as well.

Is a nightmare sometimes but 28/1 looks such a huge price for Absolutely So in the 5 20

Having a little play on Cheque En Blanc in the 2.35 at Exeter.
In the Newmarket opener, despite my myopic choice in the compo ( Appleby/Buick, come on ... ) I think Robsdelight could spring a surprise, even though it has drifted quite a bit.
In that Mullins versus Elliott race at Fairyhouse (5.50), Morgan could represent a bit of value.
Finally, at Carlisle, I would have hoped Chicago Lady could be a good prospect in the opener, on C&D form, but the market is saying otherwise; maybe a watch there, or perhaps a small play.

Best of luck to all who play.

Ballistic in the 3.00 at HQ looks well over priced from a smart family, trainer excels in this sphere a jacks on the nose.

Happy birthday Gazboy. I bet your slice of cake will be a lot bigger than that scrawny Beckham bird's.

    Exeter 2.00 BENECHENKO

Point and bumper winner not gone on as expected but pair of decent placed efforts at end of last year when runner up to White Moon(earned rating of 135)and then 3rd behind 140 rated Shannon Bridge. Also produced another solid effort at Fakenham back in February when 2nd to the talented Whiskey In The Jar.Takes on a decent pair here but receives 11lb from them.

Only two for me today. Achill Road Boy at Carlisle but I've also taken an EW chance on Plutonian - got pretty good odds on it this morning as he's not fancied on soft ground and is among some decent company. It's perfectly suited to the mile trip, though. Odds too generous for me not to nibble.

    Exeter 3.10 ROYAL PALLADIUM @ 7/1

Last win came here in November 2016 off mark of 122.Produced another good effort here last November off 125 when 3rd,2 1/2l behind a fair sort in Ask The Weatherman.Had a three month break and soft ground suits. Both trainer/jockey in good recent form and first time cheek pieces fitted.

Also reverse forecast with Ballyheigue Bay who reverts to fences for first time since November 2016 and has an entry in the grade 3 Bet365 Gold Cup.
