Can't see it beating the fav stick, Call Me Lord (that's the name of the horse). That will be music to your ears. You've probably doubled your stake on the strength of that <laugh>

Well I'm back amongst it now and making a few quid.
What's not to like about a "Stick Max Bet" with good form in the book along with the fitness and the weight received.
I have great faith in the Hammond lad too!
Cheers Stick, just had a good dabble at 13/2 with Skybet and will do me very nicely for the weekends meeting at Chelters!
    Good luck!!

7lb of that is the claimer. Certainly has a fitness advantage. The fav is odds on but you never know what to expect after a lay off, especially when we don't know why. I think I'd rather be on your trier at 7/1 than an odds on shot that hasn't run for 200 days. Good luck

Interesting jockey booking in the 3.20 Lingfield Richard Johnson riding for Neil Muholland- they were 4/7 when teaming up last season - 7/1 currently for Champagne George and the horse looks like it has a lot of scope to improve for last season as well.

    Good luck Stick, fingers x'd.

Big word for Decker's Delight in the 1 50 Lingfield 16/1, not as strong as the norm as not my cousin, but a guy at works mate part owns it and says they're expecting a big run.

I say Stick, my old love, this is all a bit ‘cloak and dagger’ ain’t it?!? Cor blimey old boy James Bond has been handed top secret missions more readily than you’ve released this info! Should forum members destroy their PCs upon obtaining this intelligence or at the very least print off the evidence and then eat it?!?

So yet again rumours of your demise have been grossly exaggerated.

My demise?!? Don’t fret, my old love, I’m still in the land of the living.

True haven’t been on for about 4 weeks but this was because was in Devon half-term week (did say so before I went) and then subsequently have been quite busy at the coalface of late – not helped by a seemingly record number of the troops being off on the sick.

Must confess though that I’ve paid next to no attention to the old gees-gees since ‘Champions Day’. I’ve longed maintained that in the NH sphere there hasn’t been a race run for yonks, with a prizepot under £10k, where some sort of fiddle isn’t occurring – and how do you make it pay when this is the case (unless, of course you’re the one doing the fiddling…but then again maybe someone else is doing an even bigger fiddle!). Have got very little appetite for these contest anymore. The whole NH game now seems geared to the big Festivals with everything around them poor or crooked in comparison (for one reason or another). A shame as the whole NH term just doesn’t seem to flow like it does on the Flat with a set Pattern in existence which sees the running of top races for very decent money on an almost weekly basis. It’s good to see these races evenly distributed rather than squashed into a handful of days like in the NH sphere.
