Friend text me this morning he'd backed Bunk off Early as his main fancy asked me for an outsider I said Labaik but it usually refuses to race. If it sets off it should go very close. He asked if I was backing it I said 'no mate it'll not set off and then will probably be banned after today for refusing to race'. Charbel w/o will do for me here. Quite like him and thought he was crying out for a little bit further when he first raced Altior. This hill should play to his strengths.

I thought Altior jumped better than I've seen him before, a lot closer to the fences that usual, as he usually flies them by miles... But I also think Nico gave him a safe ride round than really push him... Good win all the same for connections but it didn't improve my bank account...!!!
Altior's a bit of a dazzler, I thought. He was very "thoughtful" over some of the fences? Clever. Glad to see Charbel and David Bass are OK. I don't think he'd have won, but we'll never know.
