That's the one with the 2 young girls working on the checkout at Tesco. One says to the other "I can always tell the married blokes from the single blokes". The other one replies "How do you do that then". "Watch this" says her colleague.
A young bloke comes up to the till and places on the conveyor belt: 1 apple, 1 bread roll, 1 egg, 1 sausage, 1 pint of milk.
The cashier says to him: "You're a single bloke aren't you?"
"Yes" replies the man, "how do you know"
The cashier looks at him and says "You're a right ****ing ugly ****"

If the Niarchos-owned colt Erupt wins the big race at Longchamp tonight, will they perhaps donate the winnings to the Greek austerity programme?

That looked like a decent maiden at Lingfield and the front three may all be fairly decent.

Erupt looked very decent indeed. No excuses for storm the stars he was beaten fair and square. The fav was a tad unlucky but not sure he'd have troubled the winner had he got out sooner.

Winner far and away the best...nice prospect given how lightly raced he is.

I have no idea why the Brits bothered showing up for the Grand Prix de Paris if they were going to let Joseph O’Brien do the donkey work. It turned into another sprint up the Longchamp straight and the favourite Ampere managed to get boxed in and flew way too late to challenge Erupt, who sat handy just behind the quasi pacemaker. I would not say that he would have beaten the winner anyway. Storm The Stars had a good position but soon as it turned into a sprint he was left for dead and Balios never challenged.

This race is a bit of a double-edged sword for the winners. Since this was extended to twelve furlongs, only Khalid Abdullah’s Rail Link has completed the double with the Arc. The good news for those that have done Erupt for the Arc is that the Niarchos-owned Bago won the ten furlong Grand Prix and the Arc back in 2004.

It was a fair race. I doubt any are particularly decent compared to the two Gosden 3 year olds. Nevertheless, a fair win by Erupt and an unluckly run coupled with a poor bit of race riding by Barzalona.

Cheers. The 33/1 looks decent as well. Only got Treve and Jack Hobbs to beat.

Shame my other 50/1 shot got done at 1.1
