They certainly were Dex. Fear not. I shall admit to putting on a few layers of winter warmth recently but have taken steps to tackle the unwanted pounds with a daily jog round the lake at Roundhay Park.
Nice one Bob... I like that Royale Knight, not today mind at the price, but never the less good placement for the win indeed... A 4 timer...
From one great ride to a really poor one from Paddy Brennan on the favourite in the last race. He just wanted to crawl over the line and gave the winner (who looked to have no chance over the last) the incentive to pick up again under very powerful driving from Hadden Frost. If you backed Doubletoilntrouble you have my sympathy.
Well done Ollie. I like Oscar Magic in the next although i'm conscious that man Hugh Taylor seemed confident about Utopian this morning in his column. 11/4
What on earth was the jockey playing at on utopian? Admittedly he practically didnt jump but he was never given a chance
Little Boom......Anna's Arch wins... Didnt jump the best, but who cares when youve had a bob or two on em and they win...!!!
ATR - Frankie has tested positive for a ride over in France earlier this year...!!! More to follow...!!!
Lifted from Sporting Life... Solicitor Christopher Stewart-Moore released a statement with the news the Medical Committee of the French authority are planning a hearing. The statement, issued to Press Association Sport, said: "On behalf of Frankie Dettori I can confirm that, as a consequence of a positive test at Longchamp on September 16 2012, he will be the subject of an inquiry by the Medical Committee of France Galop next week. "In compliance with, and out of respect for, the regulations of France Galop, he will not be commenting further until the France Galop procedures have been completed." Wonder what he tested positive for... Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil...??? Sanatogen...??? A Rustlers Burger...??? Shouldn't jest...
