Got a big price on Felix Desjy earlier and i see it is now into 11/1!

Also think Brandon Castle is an ew shot, but it will probably go to Ruby or Al Dancer

The ground did indeed do for Aramon. Had a chance but his stamina gave in. I was surprised his price contracted to be honest given the rains.

Klassical Dream hosed up there but disappointing runs from Al Dancer and Angels Breath. I must admit that I have never been as excited by the latter horse despite some prominent figures feeling that he's a good un.

A classic bit of ew thievery with the 5 places. To be fair I thought FD ran a very good race as he was totally stuffed by the standing start.

I'm not suggesting anything untoward, but Klassical Dream looked like he'd had too many blue smarties - almost unshipped Ruby going to the start and very fiesty as they began the race.

You certainly wouldn't have backed him just prior to the off would you.

Sickener for me if that's true. Rescheduling for Saturday would be a logistical nightmare but presumably a way of keeping the Weds ticket/hospitality revenue rather than having to give it back. I missed 2008 but had already booked for the Friday that year so got a few extra races. No such plans this year :emoticon-0119-puke:.
