So presumably, you would accept the reverse? By that I mean I have read virtually the same argument t used by Allam supporters. A group using the name of Hull City supporters must be strong enough to accept comments from Hull City supporters. Some chose to do things their own way due to some factors relating to that group. It's not either or. You can't say accept the trust or shut up, it simply isn't a valid argument, anymore than saying accept the owners is. As Chaz points out, some got abuse for pointing out the need for the very changes now being made. Hopefully, the new structure will be more open towards comments.
The Trust has always been open to comments, views & suggestions from both members of the Trust & non-members. I do see some people struggling with the concept of how to contact them despite it being a simple process.

I'm wondering where the usual suspects are getting the material for their self-congratulations. I have re-read the post that seems to have triggered their sudden rush of imagined success, their usual mutual arse licking, but I don't see what it is all based on. I see no mention of improved membership recruitment being a reason for the two resignations, nor do I read it as saying that they accept their positions were in any way a mistake. I read it as two guys stepping aside to try and make it possible for our arrogant and intransigent club owners, the failed name-changers, to try and communicate with their customers. It's good to see that they have put the club above their own self-interest (which they have, astonishingly, been accused of in the past), let's hope that the owners reciprocate with their own conciliatory gesture.
By the way, 5 new directors were elected today. Replacing 4 who left today plus 2 others who left earlier in the year.
The number of directors increased by 1 today but is still 1 less than a year ago. The constitution allows up to 10 (I think) plus co-opted directors (which one of those who left today had been for the past year) so there is room for more but we are well above the minimum number.
New-look Board for HCST It’s farewell to some old faces and hello to some new ones on the Trust’s Board following Saturday’s Annual General Meeting. Frank Beill, Rob Harmer, Mike Scott and Rick Skelton stepped down before the AGM and Chris Smith resigned this week. The Board gives its thanks and good wishes to them all: Frank, who greatly aided the transition from the Tigers Co-op to the HCST; Rob, who took care of the membership database and represented us on the Fans’ Working Group (as well as being the supporter representative on the KC’s Safety Advisory Group); Rick, who dealt with merchandise, including the introduction of new products; and Chris, who with Alan Hemingway led on the inception of the A.R.T. Project. Mike, though he has stepped down from the Board, will continue to act as Secretary for the time being. It’s a hearty welcome to Graham Cannon, Cath Dyson, Sue Dyson, Peter Fleming and Phil Walton.
