“The Swansea City Supporters Trust Board can confirm the following results in the recent consultation to members: A total of 1572 ballot papers were issued with 848 valid ballot papers returned. The results were: 81.80% of votes in favour of Option 1 - To Pursue Legal Action 17.15% of votes in favour of Option 2 - No Change (1.05% of votes were returned on spoiled ballot papers) The result now provides the Swans Trust Board with a firm mandate to proceed with the legal avenues outlined in our consultation document and our legal team and funders will continue their work at the earliest possible opportunity. We will of course duly update our members as we progress.”
So the stats say that just under 54% of the issued ballot papers were returned ? 81.8% wanted to pursue legal action. That equates to 694 people. So out of the 1572 papers sent out, just over 44% got back saying they want legal action. It seems the other 56% either don't want legal action or don't care either way.
It would be strange that a potential percentage ? of those who couldn't be arsed to cast a vote did so because they didn't want legal action, ? my view is they just couldn't be bothered or why take chance ? 694 of whom I was one of did take the time to take action against the sellouts
Still disappointing that members can't be arsed though hey ? I'd think that if you really want something to happen then you vote for it.
I hope that if something has been done illegally that then they are made to answer for it, this is what happens in any other walk of life.
Shocking to be honest, a few maybe would forget or be on holidays but that amount , makes you wonder why bothering to join in the first place
What an apathetic bunch of wasters that did not bother!!........... Never mind the right result was still achieved.........
