Yes. Not likely, but yes, I would look at them as a serious option. Momentum would have to **** off and take the Labour front bench with them.
I can’t stand the Tories. The ****ing bullingdon boys club ****e hawks like Boris Johnson, Rees Mogg, Cameron etc don’t give a **** about the working class. They are in it to look after their rich chums and view us lot like plebs. That’s why I’d never vote Tory. As much as you hate Corbyn, he and McDonnell have the working class right at the forefront of their policies. BUT, that said, I’d be happy to see him go and Replaced with a moderate like Hilary Benn if it meant Labour for elected to Govt
Tbh, I was at the AGM earlier in the week and there's a big debate going on within the Conservatives about needing more people who resonate with the working class. Ruth Davidson is a big favourite but she doesn't seem to want the job. I don't see a difference between the Conservatives and the current Labour, when it comes to being out of touch with the working class. They both are, massively.
No I can agree with that at all. The Labour Party are borne out of the trade unions and elect their leaders based on unions and one member one vote. Corbyn is probably the most working class friendly leader they’ve had in a generation. The Tories whole DNA is based on the oxbridge privileged. They’ll always back the interests of business over the workers and they’ll always blame the poor for societies ills, rather than look at the root causes of poverty and deprivation.
The Tories also need to find a way to appeal to the under 35s or they'll be ****ed in a few years time.
By which time we should hopefully have a credible Labour leader to vote for. It wouldn’t surprise me if Labour got into power to see a ‘retired’ JC slither back in like a deformed snake and try to seize the PM’s chair.
Labour will be fine once Corbyn goes. This current bunch of Tories are so detached from non-private school young folk that they have a hell of a lot to do to win them over.
Parliament ****ing off Theresa Mayhem's brexit deal yet again might turn out to be a blessing in disguise for the Tories in the long run. Because if that had passed and the Tories ended free movement and ****ed up the the under 35's future to live and work in Europe, they would probably never vote for the them ever again in the future.
Whilst Corbyn was trying to negotiate the talks that eventually led to the NI ceasefire, Thatcher was going out for a meals, drinks and a bit of a laugh with Terrorists.
