    <cheers>

If you were a citizen of the US of A in November, how would you vote?

It seems a No Brainer to me <doh>

One is a washed -up 70 year old with bad hair and a dodgy past - and the other is Donald Trump.

Having "The Donald" in the White House is just what both the US and the world needs right now -
Kim Jong-un and Putin will be sh1tting themselves every time Don logs into his Twitter account in the morning, looking for disobliging references.

Take it from me - Don Trump will make a great US President <applause>

Now you are being ridiculous @ForestHillBilly

I only start political threads about things that might actually happen <cheers>

Will you be sending a postal order from Forest Hill to the Donald's campaign fund?

Private Eye has a very amusing Trumpton strip cartoon. The Donald's slogan is Vote for Me because I'm not Hillary Clinton. Hers is Vote for Me because I'm not Donald Trump. I agree with them both, so haven't voted:emoticon-0149-no:.

Away from Fox news and the Republican tea party, a lot of the stink around Hillary is turning out to be nothing but nasty propaganda. Trump on the other hand is just nadty- that incident with the gold-star muslim family suggest a seriously unbalanced idiot. I'm told a lot of Republicans are drifting to the Democrats, not through any love of a traditional enemy, but as the far right put their odd politics firmly up front for the Republicans. A fair way still to go, but this could be a real landslide, not because of Hillary being good, but because Trump keeps saying what he thinks.

Neither of them. They're both as bad as each other.

Hilary every time. Trump is an obnoxious racist with a Guinea Pig living on his head.

The video released overnight of Hillary collapsing at the 9/11 ceremony will do her more damage. She is clearly not physically fit enough to be POTUS, whereas her rival boasts a vibrant and lustrous head of hair that would make a 20 year jealous.

The Donald is still available at 7/4 on Betfair this morning, and I advise everyone to get on <cheers>

    Landslide?

The latest poll gives the Donald a 2% lead, I am hoping for a landslide but 2% will do nicely for now.

Trumpers is also polling very well in the key states, including Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. His message will cut through with the disaffected white working class I believe.

Ask yourself this, who would Putin LEAST like to deal with over the next 4 years - Trump, or the woman who sacrificed the US Ambassador to Libya's life for her own career?

His hair is terrible. It's like Cookie Monster threw up on it, after a 48 hour pure dough binge.

If you think TRump's hair is bad have a look at his mother's! At least Trump has the sense to wear a baseball cap when it's windy.

There is a precedent for a US president being too ill to run the country. Off the top of my head I think it was Woodrow Wilson whose wife took charge for a year and no-one noticed any difference. And Mr Hillary knows the job already- easy-peasy.

Where's this about his lead? Last I read it was a landslide as Ken said for Hillary.

Gonna need a link for this, nick.

As for who I'd vote for, neither do much to inspire me. The Americans seem more focused on having a "first black president" and "first female presidnt". Donald Trump wouldn't be the "first dickhead president" though.

I read it on the Guardian website on Saturday. The latest poll put Trump at 45-43 % over Clinton.

With Hillary limping around today looking like the bloke in Peters and Lee, surely no sane American will trust her with the Red Button.

I haven't read anywhere that he's leading. Guardian had Clinton in the lead last week.

But I think you already knew that ;)

I think that we're giving Americans a bit too much credit here. They've only got used to Obama... You think they'll be all this "woman power?"
