Negative or realistic? Is a longer spell in the Championship than we hoped for the end of the world especially if the Club is transformed from top to bottom in the process? Spending money we didn't have has not worked. Changing Managers every time we hit a bad run hasn't worked. Paying lip service to the Academy hasn't worked. Fundamental change is obviously needed and I seriously believe that the current set up and personnel will succeed if they are given the necessary time. I say again - is that negative or realistic?

Only the bottom 4 teams have got a worse goal difference than us and 3 out of 4 of those have scored less goals!
We are right in the smelly brown stuff, can’t score can’t defend can’t win and can’t by the looks of it change anything!! It doesn’t make for good watching or reading!!
The guy that sat next to me last Saturday kept saying the outfit was tired from the Arsenal game! Are the little pampered darlings still tired?

I had you down as a nailed on 3 pointer today and I even had you in my accumulater! <grr> that'll teach me to back you! Us winning and you losing normally makes my weekend but today it feels rather like my Mother in law has just driven off a Cliff in my brand new Mercedes!

Well, yea, but a lot of us mentioned all of these issues months ago. Got slagged off for it too.

Was Wes sh*te again?! He was so, so bad against Derby. Never seen him play like that, was really upsetting to see such a club Ledge performing like that.

Things that worries me most. I've kept thinking: When Alex comes back...

This was a massive injury. What if he doesn't come back the same?

I think we're doomed to fail this season if Tettey suddenly is so key. We may get hard to beat again but Tettey only adds to the problem of our already poor threat to the opposition. Tettey would be an elastoplast pampering over a system that as yet has not really proved suitable for the championship.

    Bah!

It’s the same every time we go through a bad spell; the player whoever it is who’s out injured suddenly becomes our fix all and saviour ‘when’ he comes back!
The tactics need to be changed first, as you rightly say, it’s not suitable and isn’t working in this division!

MOST definitely we need a change of tactics and if Basil isn't fully fit, get Abrahams in to play the striker role - at least he knows where the goal is!!!
My other hope is that both Morris and Godfrey will be welcomed back in the New Year and actually get a chance to be in the matchday squad at the very least.
Ragett will also be coming home in January. <ok>

Interesting to note that Ragett did not feature for Lincoln yesterday. I read that the Imps asked if they could play him in the FA cup and were obviously turned down, that suggests to me that he is earmarked for a place in the squad at least

But had he played for them yesterday surely he'd only be cup-tied for F A cup matches?
And knowing our recent record in that competition........<whistle>

We can't recall him until January? If I read it right.
But my point was you can only be cup-tied, not league tied if you're recalled by your parent club?
I assumed that was how it worked? <ok>
