Not quite sure they will manage that then, you can't ticket the whole bus route. Or is ticketing just for the 'party' bit (stage etc.)?

It would be better for at least some people, because many will not want to stand around for hours, miles away from a screen, looking at the back of someone's head, and not even see the trophy.

A parade means people can literally pop out, see it, have a cheer and a clap, and go home. I don't need to see the match again on a screen! I've already watched it so many times I've got 3rd degree burns on my pupils.

I cant get along anyway - working nights that weekend - but the open top bus parade seems a far better option for many fans.
A bit controlling to force people to get tickets.
