thank you again trolls for getting us to the league 1, quarter final of the fa cup, beating the turds and reaching final of the jpt. the football was not the best in the world, some signings were poor and your form over your last 12 months in charge was not great but i personally will remember you for the good things you done for us.
and taking in to account we were your 1st managerial job. very good effort.

Lets just hope he's remembered for all the right things .... and not for just the last 12/18 months or so. Got some great memories of great games and times, but it is time to close the PT chapter of Bristol Rovers and welcome the dawning of a (hopefully) successful PB era - onwards and upwards!
 
in about 1963, i travelled up to shrewsbury to watch the shrews home game against the gas, shrews won 7-3 and your goal keeper esmond million got thrown out of football for throwing the game, apart from million rovers had a great side and a great manager bert tann. happy days in frenchay then

have some back. in 1982 8 city players were threatened with their lives by city fans and forced to rip up their contracts and leave the club just so city could fold from bristol city fc and become a new club bristol city fc 1982 ltd. great fans treating players like that.
