    Tell Ponders most of his books are well written and informative but Pygmy is possibly the biggest piece of ****-reeking rubbish ever forced upon the literary world. <whistle>

    I honestly cant think of one genuinely, consistently funny female comedian who could make me laugh on a panel show. Joan Rivers maybe ... but thats it.

    Fight Club, Choke & Survivor worth a read. The rest are best avoided.

    He's much like Christopher Brookmyre & Bret Easton Ellis whose books have somehow got worse the longer they've been writing.

    <ok>

    Never read any Brookmyre.

    Read "American Psycho" and then another Ellis, canny mind what it was called, it was utter gash. Threw it away after about 100 pages or so (I kept giving it a chance).

    He got too much into sci fi for my liking but some of his newer offerings are really good with that female private detective.

    The Rules of Attraction was the other Ellis that I started. The film was better than the book.

    Only read one of them, the first one I think.

    The sci-fi ones are mince.
