I'm assuming no one new the answer to this without looking it up.
It was Arsenal that were the original Wimbledon, they changed their name from Dial Square to Royal Arsenal.
They later changed their name again to Woolwich Arsenal, on the verge of bankruptcy they moved the whole club from South East London to North London and dropped the Woolwich part of their name.
