Well, Dad's working as I originally thought I had plans, but now it looks like they are out the window. However its my birthday weekend so im tempted to go. But I dont know if im expected somewhere else. Grrrrr. Plus im not that fussed as its not a special ground, but its still great to see us play. What do I do???

There is a pub near the ground called The Dove Inn (S70 1TP), there is also Barnsley East Dene Working Mens Club (S70 1UD), where you can also park. Both are a few minutes walk to the ground.
Closer to the town centre is a spoons The Joseph Bramah Wetherspoon (S70 2PX) and The Metrodome Leisure Complex (S71 1AN), where you can drink.
Unless we have the whole end, there is no beer to be had in the ground.
