It's FIFA, mate. They keep ****ing about with the International calendar to try and stay relevant, it's just making it worse and worse. Then you've got UEFA's league format to try and keep money appearing. Football is definitely getting worse, fast.
In the days of Hayden, Shelvey, Laecelles, Ritchie and Atsu, an international break used to mean a rest for the squad, now it means they're gonna be extra knackered.
Forest play an interchangeable formation so it will be interesting to see how they line up tactically. Momentum is swinging our way and Forest will run into a bad patch so I’m hopeful we will at least get a draw out of this game. Hopeful of a 1-2 win… expecting a 1-1 draw.
Mat Sels < Nick Pope Ola Aina < Tino Livarmento Murillo = Schar Milinkovic > Burn Moreno < Hall Yates < Tonali Dominguez < Bruno Gibbs-White < Willock Elanga < Gordon Wood < Isak Hudson-Odoi < Joelinton On paper this should be comfortable BUT Nuno has them playing well and super defensively solid - only conceding more than one goal once (against Brighton) and keeping 4 clean sheets in their 11 games so far. They also seem to be finding their rhythm going forward scoring three in each of their last two games. We are, however, just finding our feet this season and despite a very average start to the year are just coming into a bit of form of our own, while starting to look defensively solid again so we will need to find a way to break them down but think we should sneak this one by a single goal. Another clean sheet (which was a bit part of our successful CL qualifying campaign) and 3 points on the board will have the slow start to the season fading in to the distance in the rear view mirror. Interestingly with 6 of the 10 above us playing each other (*Liverpool/Villa, *Brighton/City, Chelsea*/*Arsenal) and NUFC* vs Forest we could still be as low as 10th at the end of the weekend but 1 point of 3rd.
What issues? And do they really need to be overcome? Let's put that into context, really? ****in numbknuts...
I see you’ve got a typo, Donut. And no, paying your restaurant bill once a year is more than sufficient.
