To be fair we were playing poorly at start of season regardless of venue but getting results. Last few games there’s been an energy back in the play that’s been lacking and the results are improving again.
Quite good? Only Liverpool and Man City got more points away from home than us that season, and we lost the fewest away games (3) of any team in the league. It wasn't quite good, it was exceptional. Plus it was very good in the season half of last season, and it was only bad last season when our home form was also bad. There is no issue here whatsoever.
You'd have to have not been paying attention to not see we've been poor away from home recently like Of course it's an issue.
Away form has been good since January, and it was only briefly bad before then. Stop trying to be Roy.
Like what sort of opinion? That the moon's made of cheese and the earth's flat? There's opinions and there's stating something that is factually incorrect.
I don't think he's been watching the away games the last year and a half. I'd expect it to be worse than home form, but the drop is bigger than what will be required. Literally everyone knows it.. Howe wants to address it.
If they can improve the away form Newcastle will be competing for top 6.. problem is there's been no indication that it'll improve... yet
And the fact that everyone is beating everyone this season, it will be a lower than normal points total needed to win the league, and also to qualify for Europe..we just need to stay in the hunt for now which we are.
Newcastle have 3 games that they need to win to stay in the mix. If they lose at Forest perhaps Charlie will realise we're not good enough away.
No I won't cos I'm not that ridiculously reactionary. In the same way cos City lost to Bournemouth and got put out the league cup a few days before that doesn't mean they're not good enough.
Looking at the last year and half is reactionary? City don't have any issue. Newcastle need to improve on the road and there's no harm in just admitting it to ourselves.
