I agree with you Northampton, but one third of those voting agree. I fear the Yellow Army is still a very split entity. Some are just waiting to have a chance to start shouting Adams out if we lose a match. It disturbs me.

We're a split entity, I think a lot of people are still disappointed and disillusioned with what's happened. It's the fear of what will happen if we don't get promoted first time round the uncertainty of where the clubs going, I must admit the fan's who think it's absolutely brilliant to be in the Championship absolute infuriate me.

It is certainly a justified statement.

If you look at the cold hard facts of 1 goal for 8 million quid he is certainly the worst value signing.

Personally, I think Chris Hughton let him down rather than him letting us down. None of the strikers performed under his stewardship.

I don't blame RVW for his poor return of goals at all.

Must book a doc's appointment tomorrow - that's 2 of your posts that I've agreed with in a matter of minutes darrabuh!!!

RvW is a top striker and will come good again, Hughton has a lot to answer for as has been well documented. Name me just ONE, just ONE player that Hughton signed that would have been pleased with his move. Hughton's tactics knocked the stuffing out of RvW and Hooper IMO, I'm just glad Hughton's gone and we can finally move on.
Ricky could have and should have been a success with us and it's a crying shame that it all went so very Pete Tong !

Edit:- Hughton has also ruined Becchio's career

I supported CH through last season thinking that it would all come right in the end and argued with many on this board to defend him. I also thought as you have said KIO that his signings were of high quality and that at some point it would all gel together. I have to say now as we approach another season and I have had time to reflect and dwell on everything that I was wrong. CH failed miserably to get the best out of a pretty decent squad and caused many frustrations both within the squad and of course on our own board (606 board!) The jury on NA is still out and will remain so for a while I guess but the style of play close season has been much improved from an entertainment perspective and if this is carried on into the season and translated into points then the decision will be fully supported I am sure.

Good post.

I tried not to knock him when he was here, but in retrospect, his tenure was a disaster. I hope some of those guys can rediscover their form, whether it be here or elsewhere. <ok>
