Not me, I said at the time "Why are we signing a defender who's last match was an 8-2 hammering at Old Trafford?" I've not witnessed as useless a defender in the PL. Good riddance, Palace wanted him last year but he wouldn't take the pay cut...

I won't miss him, but I actually thought his best defence performance for us was when he went LB in the Play Off Final after O'Neill got sent off. Other than that, he's been truly sh*t

Useless, even as a winger he causes more trouble than he's worth. We need a solid left back perhaps plucked from Leauge 1 or a Championship side.

I don't think he came to us and became s***, I just don't think he was ever actually that good. Arsenal probably liked the look of him as he was fast and athletic and thought they could mould him into a good footballer, problem is he can't actually do the footballing part of being a footballer so they got rid...can't polish a turd and all that...

By his own self admission, it's a confidence issue with this fellow.

He seemed to be on the right path after he'd taken the time to read up on the Chimp Paradox.

But as others have opined, he has never truely sustained any form. Too easily distracted, no psychological resilience, and shockingly poor spells of absence in concentration.

As such, he's in the same category as Anton Ferdinand for me.

Not on this occasion though @ 3:40

We should have kept Wayne Routledge as a winger & goal scorer.

Bye. Shut the door behind you. A player who could rarely concentrate on his job for the full 90 minutes and who flattered to deceive on the few occasions he played to his potential.
