Looks like it's off after he came to Adams park. Was being offered a 3 year contract. He probably realised he wouldn't be getting regular first team football
 
Surely every footballer knows there is no such thing as regular first team football, every club is looking to replace their players with who they think would be a better player
 
Barnsley have (reportedly) agreed a sum of £1.3m for Connell but it's uncertain that the deal will go through. Either he wants to come or he doesn't. No point having him if he isn't keen on the move. Thoughts may be turning to bring back Morley from Bolton. Would be happy with that
 
Pity about Pattenden, looks like Dodds & above as you say are clearing out any players that played in the Ainsworth?Bloomfield eras

It's messy. It is now claimed that a third bid by Wycombe (for £1.3m) has not been accepted and that it may not be true that a third bid has actually been launched. It was stated as fact (not uderstood/believed) that Barnsley had accepted a bid of £1.3m. BFP I believe

It was because a sh*t journo at The BFP claimed it was on and then tried to cover his ar*e. :steam:
