transfers

Prefer the EFL version, would give us a little more leeway looking for a replacement, but I think the Bristol Live version is more realistic

I think £1m is cheap considering age and the fact he was won player of the season last year by the EFL. Player of the season's normally are expensive. Why should other clubs get a lot of money for their players but we give the best player in the league last season away so cheaply? If he was a Peterborough player, they would have got £5m for him. Im not saying he's worth that but in today's market, to buy the best player in the league would cost a pretty penny.

I think his value depends on who's buying.

If he goes to the Championship then he's defo worth a seven figure sum. Premier League, eight figure sum. But in my opinion he's not quite full Championship standard in his current form, that's why he's not attracting interest from higher up the pyramid. He clearly wants away so we have to listen to offers from whoever's interested and at the moment it seems to be League One Bolton.

Look at JCH for example - top League One scorer for a couple of seasons but we could've got him for £800k back in the summer - if a Championship team had come in for him Posh would've asked for a lot more than that.

Gibbons is going on loan to Cambridge for the rest of the season, so that's the last we'll see of him as his contract runs out in the summer.

According to Bristol Live, Gordon could also possibly leave this transfer window.

That's lots of outs / potential outs and only one in - let's hope we get a few deals in the next couple of days or a couple of injuries will see us with a stretched squad.

Unless Rovers have a replacement lined up and ready to sign we should tell them to come back at the end of the season for Collins, with the window closing at 11pm tonight it doesn't give us much time for the signing of new players. About 5 out and 1 in makes our squad look very thin and not capable of a last minute push for the playoff's or has that aim gone out of the window

I agree with your point but the window closes tomorrow night at 11pm. We have another 24hrs of impending disappointment to deal with!

Thanks for that Bluebaldee but I was under the impression that it closed on the last day of January

Bolton have made an improved offer of around £750,000.00 For Collins, if this is refused they will not increase their offer

Exeter have signed Ryan Woods from Hull till the end of the season

Tom Nichols has joined Mansfield Town linking up with Ollie Clarke and Alfie Kilgour

2 in 5 out with our injury record this season we could well be struggling for the rest of the season

"Understand that Bristol Rovers attempted to sign Niall Ennis from Blackburn Rovers but he has opted for a different club."
