    Was thinking of posting an article like this the other day, i have heard nowt from Newcastle this window bar Tomkins and possible departures, I'm hoping that no first team players leave and we bring in a defender and forward, i know the club have said they won't bring in a striker but i hope its a crafty one from Cashley to get people to drop their prices

    Seen something saying Mobida Maiga is going to Stoke, I suppose they think that if they missed out on Ba because of his suspected problem leg, they'll do a Newcastle and take someone who has failed a medical (let's hope it doesn't work for them!).

    The rumour is they want 7m and that that is within our budget. Actually I think it was suggested to be 7m euros or 5.6m quid. Seems reasonable to me
