Celtic hope to hear from Stromsgodset over the weekend over the possible transfer of midfielder Stefan Johansen. No formal offer has been made as Celtic try to establish what it would take to entice the Norwegians to sell. But the Scottish champions are beginning to grow frustrated at the protracted nature of the discussions. Jostein Flo, the Norwegian champions' director of football, did not wish to discuss the matter when contacted by BBC Scotland on Saturday. Celtic manager Neil Lennon confirmed his interest in the 23-year-old on Thursday, while the player's agent, Tore Pedersen, told BBC Scotland other clubs were also keen on his client. That's the thing. If we thought we needed cover at left back I imagine that need is negated now by the knowledge that Matthews is competent there and Fisher is steady enough.
