Stokes was on good money at Sunderland and couldn't even show up on time for training. We've let two absolute model professionals in Forster & Ledley move on. They are the kind of people we should be busting a gut to keep a hold of.

I'm ambivalent about Sammi coming back. He offered something different in the Euro games but didn't give a **** in most of the league and cup games. I classed Ledley & Forster as model pros both on and off the field. I'm not sure I can say the same about Samaras as his performance was based on his regard for the quality of the game or how he felt on that particular day. You knew with Ledley & Forster they would put the effort in no matter who the opposition was.
