I mean our standards should be to be there every year. Getting beat 6-1 of legia is totally unacceptable.

Nobody thinks the Legia result was acceptable but those of us with a rational disposition and the ability to critically analyse without indulging post hoc behaviour can have patience about it. Also there are extraneous circumstances that need to be considered in Deila's case which hasn't applied to a manager of Celtic since Jo Venglos. He's had no affiliation or exposure to Celtic that the others have had. Even Barnes was more cognisant of the task ahead of him than Deila. The man needs more time than the others and stronger backing from the board if players don't tow the line. Tony Watt was pumped out for exactly this reason.
That's my thinking in loans...quick fix whilst Ronny sorts out the squad in terms must stays, squad players or get tae f**s whilst giving youth players a chance in some league games
The only real issue I have with these loan deals is that if the player is successful enough he probably won't sign permanently and they we get two transfer windows every year with "Celtic back in for so-and-so" until they are old and retire.

The best piece of business Celtic have done for a long time. A 6ft 8inch goalie who is 5ft 2inches when he jumps! Completely useless in the the 6 yard box! It has always amazed me why people drool over this mug. In my opinion, as regular fan of 45 years, he is one of the worst goalies ever seen at Paradise. He may be a good shot stopper and "a wonderful trainer" but ffs, he couldn't release a quick throw-out for love nor money - and his kick-outs were the worst ever. Amazingly, he has gone to be understudy to Artur Boric - maybe he can learn something from the holy goalie. Good luck to him but I am delighted he is offski. Looking to resign sammy. Seems deila has also had a massive falling out with griffiths and stokes. Which would explain why they have not been getting a game.

When griffiths came on against legia he looked like the only one who cared though. He is an idiot but at least he has the right attitude on the park.
There was absolutely no need to sign him. We were miles out in front in the league and he's signing another striker. Lennon lost the plot in the last 2 season when it came to signings. A succession of duds apart from Van Dijk and we're probably only going get 1 season out of him in the end.
