Its probably a numbers thing, we need to offload a striker before Lawwell will allow a new one in. Ideally we'd sell Balde but that's never going to happen even at a massive loss, so Tony has to go as we have an offer.
There's a difference though Eric, Celtic are not pushing them out the door, if they want to leave we'll have no choice but to sell them if the right offer comes in.
If Watt is a done deal I find that very disappointing. Seems to me he has the raw talent and potential to become a very god player and I would have preferred to see Deila working on both his playing abilities and, perhaps his attitude rather than plodding on with lost causes like the balding, ira supporting ned Stokes or the balding, racist ned Griffiths.

Deila apparently wanted to sign him for his former club and we were told the managers strength was developing players. Lawell clearly just wants the money at the expense of the longer term future
Yes, given that Delia was looking to sign him previously it doesnt make much sense. Not happy about this when we`ve got so many poor quality strikers on the books.
Have they said they want to leave?..has there been any serious bids for either? Are they not both on LT deals? added to the fact that most teams will not fancy our valuations, it's hard to see why you think it is a given.
If the **** can play out wide then that's a start at least. Shouldn't be hard to be more consistent or fitter than Forrest and/or that Cloggy Charlatan
