Thats not fact, just what I think will happen. Griffiths himself retweeted that Wolves were in talks with Leon Clarke, Wolves manager admitted we had bid around £400k and that was rejected and that there has been further talks.......i assume those talks involved Wolves saying give us a day or two to find a replacement and we can do a deal. They wont want both strikers as need to cut wages

Been looking athe Falkirk guy a while, not seen him but is apparently a good young player. Not keen on that Thistle guy, very hit and miss when I have seen him. And yeah, Forest have gone for Fox as wont pay over the £900k they bid for him! Thats them ****ed!
I'm just annoyed that on the final day of the window we are going to be scrambling around trying to sign anyone now. This shouldnt happen. Lennon himself said he wanted business done early. We have decent team in place and any signings now should be players who will start games and therefore be an improvement on what is here. Now I accept its not that easy to get players in early in the window - Primary targets may have gone elsewhere/be too expensive/clubs not willing to sell/clubs not willing to sell until replacement signed etc. BUt if we cant get our primary targets then we should just accept it and stick with what we have. We have enough to win the 2 competitions we remain in this season we dont need to buy just for the sake of it - which looking at the level where the targets started at to the level we are now looking at seems to be the case We should instead look to sign players for the summer - we can buy one now (or soon) with the deal not to go through to then, or be looking for the next bosman like Ledley or Matthews rather than spending for the sake of it. I'd rather get a decent Bosman and give him the £1m + we are about to pay Wolves For Griffiths as a signing on fee
And Real Madrid should have had enough to win the Champions league the last 3 seasons but havent either. Its not a given they will win, but the point im making is signing Leigh Griffiths will not be the difference between winning **** all and a trophy
