According to the WDP DC is looking for a GK and three experienced players before the transfer deadline, also says Blissett is be watched by Grimsby
I reckon Blissett will go, perhaps on loan unless DC brings in another striker. Interesting that he said that four of the side had no experience at this level, because they've done pretty well. But I guess he feels he needs some more experience in there.
As I understand the press DC is looking for a GK plus three, one possibly being a striker, where else is he looking to strengthen. Our MFC2 were immense on Saturday and we already have 3/4 widemen, it will be interesting to see where he covers
Aaron Chapman would do nicely. He looks a good keeper and deserves his chance. Perhaps DC is looking for an experienced big striker who brings something different - like Blissett but better. My guess for the other signing could be a versatile defender. It's always useful to have experienced cover in that department.
I would guess keeper and a winger to replace our 2 loanee's (Chapman/Monakana). DC has said looking for a striker. Thats 3 already. The 4th im guessing someone who can play both RB and CB. Leadbitter will be out for a few months. McChrystal is weeks away from coming back (DC's own words on Saturday). We need a replacement for him or for Lockyer if he fills in at Leadbitters place. Thats what me thinks anyway
Transfer window closes Tuesday? next week, was hoping that we might have heard something about incoming players but there doesn't seem to have been a single hint of any name anywhere. Are negotiations going on in the back round or was it something just to raise our hopes. The right signings can turn this squad from being very good into a real quality team
After reading the comments on the twitter feed I believe that the board need to back DC with transfer funds as well as wages funds. we apparently struggled to break Orient down. The young f/b lyttle did not seem to have a good game and we didn't take the chances we created. I am not suggesting that Lyttle be consigned to the scrap heap but he should be brought on gently, so working on that basis apart from a G/K we I think we need a quality D/F M/F who has some creativity and a striker who knows where the net is. Please NH find the funds for these players to brought in before the deadline. As I wasn't at the game I am sure people will shoot me down if they think I have got it wrong
This was probably a baptism of fire for Lytle. He had a decent pre season, but probably needs to go out on loan to get more experience.
How many players of the stated GK plus 3 do think will arrive, deadline 6pm tomorrow, either there is going to be a manic deadline day or nothing will happen, which do you reckon
