I reckon we will buy someone slightly leftfield on deadline day, what happened to that winger from Uruguay?
Arsenal - 2 more.
Massive no thanks to Bueno. His name is unfortunately not indicative of his ability.
I don't think we'll sign anyone.

I think we are done for this window! Also trying to guess what Arsenal will do regarding transfers is no easy task! But i am gonna go with one panic buy which is terrible
Sorry guys I didn't mean this particular year.......It has been bandied about that our aim is for Europe in the next couple of years. I was just wandering what your views would be re the top 4 eventually and how many more players of say Osvaldo's or Ramirez and so on we would need to realistically compete for this spot.
I would agree we have some excellent youngsters coming through but my understanding is that Cortese wants competing for those spots in the not too distant future.
From where we are now I would say we would need to spend another 100-150 mil on top of what Spurs have to get into the Top 4.
That depends on if you mean from today/right now. If so I'd agree.
What if you looked at our team in 4/5 years time and the potential development of some of our players. JayRod is 22/23 so he'd be 26/27; Clyne would be 26/27; Shaw 22/23; Lovren 27/28; Morgan 28/29; Cork 28/29; Adam 29/30; Victor 26/27; JWP 22/23
Right now these are looking pretty good in this division and I'm not saying all of them but some of those can continue to get better.
Add to this the signing of other currently not so well know players who may also be on the beef of developing and you never know. I think the % success rate of transfers will be more key.
We are obviously someway off now, but the next few years will be very interesting.
Based on Guly and Hooiveld have a convenient 'illness' just before deadline day, I wonder whether they are off and we are in the market for players in their positions. Hopefully not, I think both are good cover.
Yes I was thinking from where we are now.
It would be great for all of our younger players to reach their potential and I am sure some will get there before others. However with injuries etc not all players do reach their potential. I guess another thing to bear in mind is the actual speed of their development and if Cortese/Pochettino are willing to wait for them to reach the potential. If we anticipate that they may reach their full potential in 5 years but Cortese wants Top 4 in 3 then they maybe sold (at a profit) and replaced with a standard of player that is already at that standard.
It is going to be a really interesting few years in a good way.
