So if Palace or Watfor sign him soon, what would Coates' explanation be ? are Palace and Watfor not in the same position as us?
Has this Egyptian youngster signed for us yet?
 
We do NOT need another midfield player before we get a CB, I see Ryan has another 'tweak' in his back. Hmmm

Indeed, know what....Van Persie would be great, say cheerio and thanks a lot to Crouch, save a large chunk out of wagee bill, and bob's yer uncle.
Simple stuff this transfer biz eh!!

VP and Crouch are too old and to slow to have an impact in this league, we need pace.
 
5 years ago maybe mate, not now. We cant fall into the trap of another Owen type signing.
 
Two very good central backs needed. One to replace Woefulschite and the other to watch Ryan's back. Who says hes back?
And in addition we have to find goals from some body/bodies. Did we or did we not have one of the poorest goals-for tally in the prem? And not for the first time. We have got to focus more on scoring, our long-suffering attending fans (including me), deserve it. For goodness sake, give us something to cheer for.
 
WBA reported to have turned down two 20 million bids from Palace and Stoke for Berahino. What is Peace playing at. He refused to sell him to Spurs last summer, the player hardly played last season, he has refused the offer of a contract from WBA and yet Peace still thinks he can get 20+ million for him. We and other clubs who may be interested in Berahino should tell JP, TP and WBA to get stuffed.

Look forward to that...it certainly would include some 90% of Stokes old Sunderland has beens. The Delapidator excepted :)
