Who needs Bojan when you have SJW, Crouch, Diuof (sp) and Bony. Play the lad up front - no wonder he's peed off.
 
JOHNSON TO WEST HAM?

West Ham have been linked with a move for Stoke City's Glen Johnson but Mark Hughes was in laid back mood when asked about the potential transfer, claiming the full-back was going nowhere.

"West Ham being linked with lots of players but he's playing and isn't going anywhere, " the Stoke boss said.

"We have the option to extend his contract and are comfortable with the situation."
 
BOJAN TO LEAVE STOKE?

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka says he will try to bring Stoke's BojanKrkic to the club.

Karanka said: “I like to bring players who can play in different positions, so we will try.

"At the moment it is one signing, but if someone leaves it could depend.

“I know Bojan, because he was in the national team. He is a good player, he has played in AC Milan, Barcelona, Ajax, Rome, Stoke … so he is a good player.”

BREAKING NEWS

Stoke City have made a formal bid to buy West Brom striker Saido Berahino, according to Sky sources.

There is so far no indication of the value of the Stoke bid, but we understand it is less than the £20m offer from Tottenham that was rejected in the summer of 2015. Stoke also had a similar bid rejected in the summer.

Berahino hasn't played for Albion since September, and was sent to a training camp in France last month to improve his fitness. He hasn't scored a Premier League goal since February last year.
 
Did he ever play other than in my imagination....that Wigan team with Valencia, Hugo and Palacios. And we got the washed up Wilson. Pity cos at the time he was the best of the lot (IMO)
 
Walters out for 6-8 weeks and Bojan to be sold for the lowly fee of 8 million. Stoke at their best :headbang:
 
If indeed we have the eighth highest wage bill, I would be pleased as it would show committment by our owners. But the money should be paid to players that merit these amounts. Do we have those players, manager and other staff, do all of them merit their pay ? Does the wage bill include money paid to directors ?
Our league position and certainly recent performances suggest that as a whole they do not merit the wage bill.
