I don't get all this "They aren't better than anyone we already have" nonsense!

Firstly what do you expect for freebies and second they have been brought in as cover for players who are injured. They are like for like players who will fit into the system and who won't upset the dynamic of the squad. I don't see what there is to moan about part for the sake of moaning! Give these lads a chance and I think we will be rewarded by their performances on the pitch. Let's not write them off before they have even kicked a ball!

" Chaplow is a defensive-minded midfielder, not the spark of creativity we need. "

You sure about this? Bishop/ Bru/ McGoldrick and to a lesser degree Sears and Murphy create for others.

Hmmm..I share Nuggets slight disappointment about these two replacements, but happy to pass judgement til later.

There was I naively thinking ME would be saying to himself and his highly paid accountants: "Fook me fellas((Warky speak!)....we are 2pts off the top, lets spend some real money, blow caution to the wind, this is our best chance at promotion for 5 years..... and get in a top flight striker on loan to help Murph and Freddie keep banging in much needed goals. Its goals that win matches not another defensive midfielder!" Trouble is we dont know who is available. Another serious injury up front and I fear trouble.

Big rumour doing the rounds this morning is that Anthony Knockaert is joining on loan until the end of the season!

Would be absolutely delighted to see him turn out for us as he was easily one of (if not the) best players in this league last season. Would be a worthy alternative to having JW back and finally shows a bit of intent to add some quality attacking options for the run in <ok>

    Buzzing if this is confirmed!
