Yep this. Plenty of talent but why risk it? We seem to have a decent team spirit at the moment.

Need to allow for the fact that Mackie is highly prone to injury. I very much doubt he'll get through to the end of the season without some kind of twinge.

That's an interesting one. We don't attract too many youngsters like him from Man United. We have had a few, tired old pros at the end of their career, Park and Ferdinand spring to mind.

Mixed feelings about the window so far and our status within it. The media seem to have finally cottoned on to the fact we ain't big spending QPR no more. On one hand it does cut down on the amount BS links we have chucked at us but on the other it makes for a comparatively dull window. Still a ways to go yet though
