Enough excitement for tonight, I need to tidy my sock draw
Bit of a shambles really 2 loans in and we've got rid of a permanent player. If we have another influx of players to accompany the ones we've got in summer we have a chance but means we're writing off this season and probably unlikely to be signing either of these players permanently
When the dust settles, we haven’t strengthened where most of us think we most needed it, creatively, and up front.
I am not too bothered about REG leaving, if we got a fee for him, even better.
@Smudger603 has nailed it though - Nathan Jones said he would only sign players if they were proven quality. You’d be stretching it to say the two loans are that.

We're getting all the same old nonsense on SSN about "deal sheets" allowing Clubs to extend the transfer window beyond 11pm.
That makes a mockery of there being a deadline at all.
11pm is either the deadline or it isn't.
Fans are expected to wait up until the early hours because of the stupid brinkmanship games played by Clubs.

They are not proven quality, Jones has been told there is no dough and he's coming out with as much s*** as Methven.

If someone senior at the club just went on Charlton TV tomorrow and said words to the effect of “moneys tight, long term project, build for the future but can’t do it this year” etc …you could almost accept it (even though they are supposed to be billionaires).
This is going to stink even more because you just know Scott or NJ will be wheeled out to basically ignore that he’s just forced out the door 5-6 players that he (Scott) himself signed for the club, while pretending that we have somehow strengthened whilst now having the second fewest outfield players in L1.
It’s all a giant con…that’s what rankles the most with this lot.
