Agree to disagree is the way to go. Works for me at any rate.
Absolutely, and posts on a forum where things have allegedly got very personal.Oh Bloody hell ….you have only been the Moderator on here for 3 days.
This is a personal best, even for you
Why don’t you just post on your own forum with you as the only member on it …although you’d still probably end up falling out with yourself within hours.
It is getting a bit ridiculous now.
If you get upset so easily by other people’s opinions - which you do - forums are not for you.
Your Twitter accounts are on and off like light switches as well.
Dicky boy must wear glasses similar to SamsWe have been to games Dick over 1000 I think I’ve done over the years. Your positivity can be admired it also can be treated as manic optimism. I’m in the wtf has this board done that is an improvement on the last 3 boards camp. I mean what have they done to make me buy a season ticket?
Lowered prices ?
Improved the team ?
Improved the stadium?
They have done nothing that has impressed me so far?

For every one player that succeeds, many more fail. What a ridiculous post. Ian Wright played for Greenwich Borough, Jamie Vardy played for Fleetwood when they were non league. There are hundreds of examples of players playing for non league and lower league football who have made it. Playing for a small Club doesn’t define you. I have WATCHED the fella from Dunfermline looks a decent footballer.
The negativity on this forum from people who don’t go to games is overpowering.
It just drags me down.
Apologies for the comment about the fitbae but I wanted to emphasise a point.Agree to disagree is the way to go. Works for me at any rate.
He's been brave with getting rid of May. The cynic in me says he funded our recruitment. It’s like de ja vu all over again.
Every season start it’s the same, buy a load of crap, sell your best players, let the suckers in the stand fall for it. Repeat.
I’m glad NJ is a man of god he is gonna need all the help he can get. Although probably best to say in this day and age, there are other gods available.
Reality over happy clapping fans.It depends on what we are happy with.
Personally, I’m slowly but inexorably losing interest in CAFC, season by season. It’s tedious & a waste of money supporting a club that’s content to bum a long in L1 mid table, cheered on by a bunch of low energy forum geeks on a certain forum who are more interested in speculating about players we have zero chance of signing.
Imagine having such a low energy personality that you are content with CAFC merely improving on last season’s dire league position.
Birmingham City have today bid £6m for Fulham striker Jay Stansfield, while we are giving a trial to a clapped out 35 year old freebie from Northampton Town. Plus ca change.
Methven , Rodwell & Co are charlatans. They are pulling the fanbase’s pants down.
At this level Jones was an excellent appointment, but I get the impression he is like marmite.NJ made a brave call that has a expiry date till Xmas. If we are not top ten by then that decision will bite him in the arse and even the west stand evangelists will be calling for his nuts on a skewer.
Well that’s ok - I like marmite, I’ve also said several times that this was never going to be a quick fix - I’m not going to be pissing my pants over the signings nor slitting my wrists ….. patience dear boy !At this level Jones was an excellent appointment, but I get the impression he is like marmite.
Interesting times.

"Entitled" to hope for promotion. "Expect" we'll be a hard team to beat, whether we win or draw games depends on whether we have replaced Alfie's goals, but our defense should be more solid. What should fans be 'entitled' to hope for this season?
Better than 16th
Top half
Top 8
Play-off place
Automatic promotion place
And are we going to achieve any of that without May & Dobbo?
I'd settle for Top half I guesswith the way things are at present.

Well said. All about respect.On the subjects of positivity and negativity among fans on this forum;
Naturally we'll all see things differently.
As a member of the negativity camp, my outlook has been forged by ten seasons of misdeeds and abuse from various bad owners towards fans. It is now going to take a lot of real evidence of good faith and improvements to break down my wall of cynicism.
But fans have the right to feel positive if they want to at this time, just a few weeks before a new season kicks off.
It is a magic time. I recall when I felt like that myself. Ticking the days off until the first match-day, going through all the rituals on the day...
There is room for both these outlooks here on Not606 I think, and they can be expressed without the need to run holders of the opposite view down.
In my view nobody here deserves to have their posts tagged as ridiculous, but neither is it necessary to disparage what members here might do on other forums. Or bring up the moderating issue.
@Dick Plumb1 taking that on was not a perk or a reward, he did it to help the forum.
I don't feel it has anything to do with any of the disagreements we've had on this thread.
Let's try to keep it reasonably civil chaps
Myself included.
Shut upWell said. All about respect.
