One way the club could fund transfers this summer is by introducing a Bullshit Tax on a certain forum.

The poster has to pay £5 each time he makes something up and passes it off as a fact or ITK info.

CAFC would have enough to buy Harry Kane within 24 hours.
Messi as well.

Nathan Jones only joined us on the 4th of Feb , after the window had shut , this is the first window he’s been involved in as manager so I’ll judge after this window - I’m pretty sure he’s got more clout and backing than any of the previous coaches had with these owners and SMT ….. let’s see where we are when the window shuts <cheers>
Yes, absolutely. At the moment it’s all just guess work. But until the SMT come out and say that they have changed strategy (or we simply see that they have with the signings), then as far as I’m concerned, nothing has changed. Jones has no more money to spend than anyone else had and our first priority is still to reduce losses.

Last season we must have had one of the bigger wage bills in L1, due to the dead weight in the squad. The problem has been poor recruitment. NJ has said he wants a smaller squad. He must know who is surplus to requirements and moving them on is Scott's job. I don't pay attention to what SMT say, the proof of the pudding etc, so I'll not judge the window until the season starts. I will be gutted if Alfie leaves though, I love the little guy.

Scott has been stood down as far as I can tell - enough said <cheers>

The calibre of players were looking at would suggest that he has and NJ wouldn’t tolerate his interference <cheers>
Who are we looking at that is a step up ?

So far we’ve signed a goalie on a free transfer, we might be signing a 32 year old on a free transfer and we might be signing a player from the bottom half of the Scottish Championship for less than £100,000. That is not recruitment that will get us promoted.
