Nisbett (Striker) was never a serious contender, it's McCrorie from Aberdeent,the other Scottish lad we think will sign.
Sorry yes - I posted about the Ashton Gate Halt and it must have stuck!! I'll find the article and correct the link. Corrected now.

If it’s correct it seems we’ve secured the services of McCrorie, I’ve no idea how good he is as the standard of the Scottish League is mostly quite poor. It’s an area we are short of numbers in and I have faith in Tinns and NP, if it is true then good luck to him at our club, let’s hope he will make a good addition to the squad .

with your connections mate you should have a column in the sun or evening post;, i dont belivieve them either;
come on give us some names, that i cant see on otib,newsnow or half a dozen other sites, i promise not to tell... honestly,
Let the excitement begin -in Nige I trust. As said all coming together nicely. First time in three years he can do his stuff without the straight jacket being on.
That’s all great and I think we ALL wish for the best for Nige (I have wished this for all City managers). However, now the pressure is really on him now - He has nowhere to hide. He can’t blame the previous regimes anymore. There’s no excuse. It’s all down to him, his players, his tactics, his formations and his decisions. Let’s see what he can do. I’m feeling positive, but I’ve had so false hopes so many times over the years I’m not allowing myself to get too carried away. It’s the hope that kills……!!
I know what you mean, I personally feel really positive this time though, I think NP is the best manager we’ve had for a long time. He seems to have the ability to create loyalty from the players and also the fans. He did used to infuriate me by recognising our faults but seemingly being unable to correct them. I think he creates an atmosphere where he allows players to be adults and take responsibility for their own performance. Then it’s a case of if you don’t then he’ll give an opportunity to someone else. It’s not a quick fix but over time it sorts out the wheat from the chaff. We now seem to have a Team spirit we’ve been missing really since Cotts imo. Like you I hope it isn’t a false dawn, but I feel really optimistic for this season.
