    If that is true then a coupleof our front men will be on the way out, Earnie certainly, Gestede if full fitness unlikely, hopefully not Mason but he would pull some good money in.

    Personally think we have the firepower, so maynard seems a slight waste of resource. We have now got the width to use the firepower, so full back cover is what I think we need, cannot cope with what we have over a full season can we?

    Maynard could be a loaner rather than an outright buy. Malky did say he would explore the loan market as well.

    Agreed about the need for another full back to ensure full cover - Connolly can play full back so just the one needed for now.

    DJR - any firm rumours on Twitter rather than just speculation?

    Talksport says Leeds were in for Maynard but he wants to stay at West Ham. Having played in the cup this week and scored he hopes to get a start this weekend.
